#MotionPicture - Henry's Crime

Henry Torne (Keanu Reeves), a man who is wrongly convicted for a bank robbery he was unaware of and serves time in prison. Upon his release, feeling aimless but inspired by a cellmate’s advice that a man needs a dream, Henry decides to actually rob the same bank.

His plan involves infiltrating a local theater troupe performing Chekhov’s "The Cherry Orchard," as he discovers an old tunnel connecting the theater to the bank vault. The plot thickens as Henry takes up acting, grows fond of the lead actress Julie (Vera Farmiga), and collaborates with his fellow inmate Max (James Caan) to pull off the heist.

The story combines themes of redemption, purpose, and unexpected romance, set against the backdrop of Buffalo, New York. The film blends quirky humor with a character-driven narrative about finding meaning through unplanned adventures and personal reinvention.
